Lake

Beckenham Place Park Lake
The 285m-long Beckenham Place Park wild swimming lake, which reaches 3.5m deep in some parts, it's not a completely new addition to the landscape. There was a lake on the site as far back as the 1700s, although it was filled in and used as a golf course — which was controversially closed to make way for the lake again.

The lake is due to reopen on 29 March 2021. The pre lockdown programme will then resume – Monday, Wednesday and Friday 7am–3pm and Saturday and Sunday 8am–3pm.

PTP Coaching is offering half term activities for children on Monday, Wednesday and Friday 10am–12pm and 1pm –3pm, as well as Saturday 10.30am – 12.30pm. Find out more about PTP Coaching’s holiday activity club on their website.
